After two exhausting days of hard fought competition, The Screaming Baguettes (Locky, Julien and Virginia) finished second to some team from Melbourne in the Australasian Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships.
The other complete Sydney team, Mallet of Cocktails (Mitch, Brook and Stephen), faced a tough draw on the second day and finished a respectable equal 7th.
Our other Sydney player, Marty, joined up with Shit City Cycles all the way from Perth. His team came equal 17th!
Brisbane, you guys put on the best Nationals ever. The draw was awesome, the organisation flawless. Well done Dan and Gypsy and everyone else who helped to make the weekend unforgettable. I always love playing against Brisbane teams. Anytime you have a tournament I will definitely be there.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to the fantastic crowd during the final. The support we got was overwhelming and it meant heaps (especially after being the most hated team last year!)
