Hi Sydney bike polo! I am really interested in these products, but they are really expensive to buy myself. They cost about $110 for a shaft and a malet head set inc. shipping. So I have an idea, if your polo club and our polo club organise together a group purchase, it may work out cheaper? Reason I’m asking is that your members compared to ours, is larger. Any suggestions?
I wont be able to go to the Nationals, but good luck to team L.S.V.!

Subs are perfectly fine, it’s hard to give a definite answer regarding playing time but the first might be close to 1130 and the second game possibly an hour after that.

Heya is our 1st game at 1130? Don’t wanna start being a problem team so early but Brian has an osteopath appointment at 1115 apparently. I guess we can play with 2 or get a sub (I think i read in the rules that is allowed?)

Hey – thanks for the compliment. So far Horse has noticed a little bit of shifting on the mallet with this set-up, but he just gives it a quick tightening and everything is good again. Best of luck in your tourneys.

Instead of randomly cutting the taper, drop the nut in place first and then cut an inch away from that..? Use a drill bit that’s 2mm smaller than the pole so it’s super snug. The teeth should be as large as possible, slightly ovalising your pole will also help with avoiding any slippage in the future.

Hahaha, most of us couldn’t! But I must say that although he was largely riding in circles, Shifty still managed to pull out a scorcher of a winning goal in the final. One touch backhand to top corner from a Locky flick pass. Cirque is going to be epic!

Sure do Mitch, I’ll be putting a few more up soon. Not much on game play but a few of the crowd etc. There’s some video footage around too which I think Sammy took. After picking up a beer in one hand and a mallet in the other, it was difficult to also hold a camera..
