First off, a big thank you to Erin for hosting a great tournament. Everyone was super nice, helpful and great sportsmanship by all. Congratulations to Get Rad for the win with a solid performance the whole day.
Shout out to the “people’s team” Dungeon Dwellers for one AWESOME elimination game! After 5 Swiss rounds, Sydney team, T_BON3RS and Gold Coast’s Dungeon Dwellers were tied on points, wins, losses and goal difference. A play-off for 4th spot begun with T_BON3RS quickly putting away 3 goals. Alfie suddenly stepped in, wound up and powered through 4 unanswered goals. T_BON3RS were able to get two last second goals to slip through to the semi finals on a 5-4 win.
Get Rad were able to connect well and defeat T_BON3RS again to make it into the final. MPS made it through Dutch Rudders to join them. Get Rad went on to win 5-1 to claim the title, and one Erin hopefully won’t soon forget.
