I regret to inform everyone of this, but it seems as though he won’t have approval for the courts ready by Thursday. Without approval, we are unable to get lights. Thursday night sessions will unfortunately be postponed until this is resolved.
Originally, we were only seeking to have the court recognised as a ‘multi-purpose’ venue, allowing other activities besides basketball or netball.
The good news is that the council have got behind the idea of having a dedicated court for polo! Until this comes about, we should be able to use the Alexandria Park courts once they have liability protection.
Sunday sessions will temporarily be at Newtown High School of Performing Arts.
