The Chiba bike polo site has posted some pretty interesting photos of their lost court due to the liquefaction of sand and the cracks from the quake. Liquefaction is when an earthquake shakes the soil into acting like liquid and causes it to rise up through cement and cracks and settles on top.

It seems as though the clubs in Tokyo and Kanto area were largely unaffected.
